Can I use a Palm Pre on AT&T?

My dad gave me a Palm Pre for my birthday, but I'm an AT&T customer. Is there a way I can use the Palm Pre on AT&T by just using my AT&T sim card ?

I don't like Sprint and I already have all my numbers in my current sim card.

I don't think so because the Pre does not have a slot for a sim card.
Also, it just wont work on AT&T.
Sprint uses the cmda/ev-do technology.
I suggest you keep using Sprint and just copy all your numbers to the new phone. I envy you, the Palm Pre is such a nice phone.
