Left and Right button on touchpad wont work?

When i click the left and right buttons while using internet explorer i get the scroll thing. i can't access my shortcut menu, or highlight anything, the buttons won't work. I went to control panel and both buttons are enabled and i tried reseting everything and the buttons on my touchpad still don't work. I have a dell...
What is wrong with my buttons?

I had the same proble. There is a separate touchpad driver as well as the mouse driver. If you see no separate settings in Control Panel, try reinstalling the driver from the manufacter's site.
See if the butons work.
