How do I delete websites I've visited?

I've been looking for a new job from my computer at work and I want to erase all evidence of the websites I've visited. I want to know how I can delete all traces so no one can find out.
Is there a way to delete just some websites and not all of them, because if I wipe out everything they'll know I'm trying to hide something.
How am I supposed to do it?

If you're using Mozilla Firefox this is what you have to do:
Go to Tools, then Clear Private Data and clear your browsing History, you can also delete all your cookies but I don't think that's necessary.

In Internet Explorer click on "Tools" and then "Delete browsing history". You'll be able to delete Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History, Passwords, etc.

If you don't want anyone to know about the websites you visit, just delete the History and you'll be ok.
