Is Tylenol Aspirin?

Is tylenol the same thing as aspirin? or is aspirin a separate brand type thing all together? or is there a difference or does it not matter which one you use?
In my mind tylenol is aspirin.

No. Tylenol is not Aspirin. Aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid and tylenol is acetaminophen. They are two different pain killers.
They are different pills, that do the same thing, but in different ways. Aspirin thins the blood, lessening pain, while Tylenol doesn't. But you could take either and have the same effect.

Tylenol is not aspirin.

Standard Tylenol is a proprietary (brand) name for acetaminophen (USA) or paracetamol as it's known in the rest of the world.

Tylenol does not help prevent cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke). Aspirin (acetasalicylic acid) does.
