Is Rachael Ray Jewish?

What's the deal with Rachael Ray ? She's not particularly attractive, not at all entertaining; her voice is annoying, and she has no noticeable talent for cooking. Yet she's had several hundred shows on The Food Channel. Then a syndicated talk show. Now her own magazine and even a CD? This woman's agent must possess superhuman abilities.
What about her religion beliefs? Is she jewish? She sometimes talks openly about the jewish religion...

Rachael Ray's religion is Jewish.
She had a problem with religion when she was part of an advertising campaign.

Dunkin’ Donuts recently pulled an online ad with Rachael Ray wearing a fringed black-and-white scarf. Some felt the ad demonstrated support for Muslim extremism.

The DD folks said that “the possibility of misperception detracted from [the ad’s] original intention to promote our iced coffee.”

Seems that critics on blogs felt the scarf looked too much like the traditional Arab headdress. The kaffiyeh, blogged conservative commentator Michelle Malkin, “has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad. Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant (and not-so-ignorant) fashion designers, celebrities, and left-wing icons.”

In a statement, Dunkin’ Brands Inc. insisted that “absolutely no symbolism was intended.”
