Is Avatar All CGI?

Is the Avatar movie that is on theaters today all CGI?
Avatar is the first TRULY photo realistic CGI fest ever made, for all I know the aliens were real
I left the theater so impressed, I thought maybe the characters were not cgi and they were actually pupets but they were too perfect, they must be cgi.
So, did the creators of avatar make all the scenes using cgi?

Well Avatar is not all made in cgi.
40% was live action; the humans in the base. The Na'vi were motioncaptured actors and CGI. Anything is possible with CGI. If you believe, then even Santa might be real and this world we live in is CGI.
I loved avatar, what a wonderful movie.
I can honestly say Avatar sets a very high bar for the future of CGI, VFX, performance capture and 3D cinema. In the last 10 years the state of CGI has gone through tremendous advances that are used in ways both big and small in movies and TV to create environments and effects that would've been impossible on most budgets before. Avatar took cgi a step ahead, they're raising the bar so high now.
