Charles Gibson Parkinson's?

Does Charles Gibson the news anchor have Parkinson's or MS?
He retired today from television and he did not say why. So I figured it could be because of a disease. My mom says he has Parkinson's.
Did Charles Gibson ever talk publicly about this?

No he doesn't have Parkinson's disease, that's just a rumor and it's not true.

I'll miss Charles Gibson's style.

He's been low-key since announcing his retirement, which seems typical. It's led to rumors that Gibson and Sawyer despise each other, that he's suffering from Parkinson's disease, and that he's still sore about being passed over as Jennings' successor the first time.

Gibson smoothly dismisses all such reports. He says he simply wants to retire, that he's never had more than a week off at one time in 39 years, that his wife recently retired from her job as head of a private boarding school, and they have a young grandchild they'd like to see more often.
