Skeletons Of Looney Tunes Characters

Korea's Arario Gallery hosted a exhibit by Hyungkoo Lee entitled Animatus.
Animatus is an exhibition which allows to see the skeletons of famous Looney Tunes characters such as Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Wile E Coyote and Road Runner. Its not only the skeletons that are on show, but also detailed drawings on the skeletons of various characters. The show is created by Hyungkoo Lee who says the Animatus series started with the “intention to analyze anatomical structures and physical forms of animation characters, within the hypothesis to visualize their possible anatomical foundation.” Lee constructs the skeletons using a hybrid mix of real animal bones and synthetic materials.

it's great! i especially like the fact that you are able to interpret who each skeleton is without the help of photos. cartoon realism, a beautiful contradiction....

That's awesome and all but Tom and Jerry and Donald, Huey, Dewey and Louie aren't Looney Tunes. Tom and Jerry are Hanna Barbara and Donald and his nephews are Disney.

Note that Donald Duck is not technically part of the "Looney Tunes"

Actually Tom and Jerry are MGM not Hanna Barbera.

Please rename this as 'Skeletons of Cartoon Characters', as only two out of the four sets of photos are actual Looney Tunes characters.

Needs some Tex Avery characters.

Nice work you have there. Must have been hard getting those pieces to fit.
It doesn't really matter if they are from Disney or Hanna Barbera, its awesome anyway.

Why be annoying and negative? Who cares if they're named incorrectly, they're brilliant.

Tom and Jerry...
Were created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Whomever bought the cartoons rights is irrelevant.

Anyway, I like the site, it's very creative...I wonder what goes in the mind of the guy who created them. How do you come up with such an idea?

"What will I do today? I think I'm going to spruce up some skeletons of cartoon characters. I wonder what Bugs Bunny would look like without his fur, flesh and organs... BAM! There it is!"

I wanna see Foghorn Leghorn!

I understand how he came about making them, but I still think it's ******* creepy!

One of the weirdest things I have ever seen. Quite bizarre.

Nice job guys
Instead of admiring these works of art. You're all ******** about the fact some of these aren't from the named company. Less QQ more "nice job".
