University Of Miami Shooting?

The University of Miami police lifted its lockdown orders after reporting that at least two suspects who reportedly fired a BB-gun on school grounds have been taken into custody.

"The campus is safe and secure and has been re-opened," said UM officials in advisory posted on its Web site only minutes ago.

What happened? Is everybody ok at the University Of Miami? My cousin whom I never see goes there.

Nothing happened.

The campus newspaper, the Miami Hurricane, reported the school has been on lockdown since about 2:45 p.m. as police search for the suspect.

A text alert asked members of the community to go/remain indoors, lock all doors/windows, stay away from windows and do not open locked doors for anyone.

Even though this seemed like a extreme measure to some students.
After students found out it was a BB Gun they were relieved however. None of the students reported that they were anxious during the lockdown.
