Lane Bryant has accused the networks of bias against large-size women and their cleavages -- and the networks have denied such claims, accusing Lane Bryant of trying to milk a non-story for publicity purposes.
The plus-size clothier is fighting mad, and rightly so. A company spokesperson has taken to the brand's official blog to accuse ABC and FOX for banning the latest Lane Bryant lingerie ad - one that is noticeably tame in comparison to the Victoria's Secret ads that regularly air during prime time.
Similarly ABC issued a statement that said "the ad was accepted." The network argued, in part, that "the company was treated absolutely no differently than any advertiser for the same product." It accused the clothing company of blowing the issue out of proportion in order to get press for the launch of its line of unmentionables -- which have indeed become quite mentionable.
Ashley Graham is comfortable with her body. She obviously feels good.
