Modern Warfare 2 Online Problems: PS3?

I'm having connection problems whenever I play Modern warfare 2 for PS3.
i cant find a match its been on for hours but still cant find one match help me please.
This never happened before, I played Modern Warfare 2 online just fine this morning but now I'm having this problem and I'm getting tired of it.
What should I do to make it work?

Same here but if you join up with a friends game it works.
Since that 1.02 update that was suppose to fix this, it has been worst.

Here too, we get the 'fetching playlist' message and then it just sits there, nothing happens for over 2 hours.
who do i need to call? anyone got the number to infinity ward im a Veteran and this is messing up my national holiday.

Very easy solution while we wait for the patch:

1. The party leader sends invites to all

2. Before accepting the invitation to join the party, press the PS button and LOG OUT of PSN

3. Log in again and NOW accept the invitation.

4. Play your game

It works pretty well.

lets see, as i am typing this, MW2 is working fine. maybe it's your location? it also depends on what you are playing within that game, i really couldn't tell you guys because my works fine...
the only damn patch they need it to boot players with lame signal to quit lagging the entire game out. the jap's have mastered this tech. and use it well...
