Michigan Smoking Ban Latest News?

does anyone know the status of the smoking ban in michigan? last i heard i believe it has passed the house but that was a while ago.
What are the latest news on the Michigan Smoking Ban? I just like to be informed about these kind of subjects.
I have never smoked and I don't think I ever will. When I go out to a club I have to deal with smoky rooms so much it's hard to see and breathe, not to mention the smell gets in your hair and clothes so much so that I smelled like I smoked an entire carton.

The Michigan legislature has finished passing a smoking ban that will apply to all bars, restaurants and workplaces except for three Detroit casinos. Cigar bars, tobacco specialty stores, home offices and motor vehicles will also be exempt.

The Democrat-led House passed the ban by a 75-30 vote. It mirrors a version passed by the Republican-led Senate earlier in the day.

Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm has said she will sign the bill.

The ban would take effect in May 2010.
