UC Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi Resigns or Gets Fired?

Students of UC Davis university were pepper sprayed by police officers during a protest.
UC Davis School Chancellor Linda Katehi announced that the officers were on administrative leave. She also said that she accepted 'full responsibility' for Friday's incident.
Since what those cop did with the pepper spray to the students is absolutely unacceptable, shouldn't UC Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi resign or get fired?
She didn't handle the situation at all. What is your opinion about Linda Katehi keeping her job at UC Davis?

University of California-Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi says she won't resign despite all the scandal over her handling of campus officers' blasting pepper spray into the faces of students.
The problem was that the group of UC Davis students stayed overnight despite repeated reminders by university staff that their encampment violated university policies and they were requested to disperse.
The campus police officers caught in the shocking video footage using pepper spray on student protesters have been suspended.

UC Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi called the video images out of the northern California university chilling and sad and really very inappropriate but she's not resigning and she's keeping her job. It's hardly unlikely she will get fired since she wasn't the one pepper spraying the students.
