Broadcast Singer Trish Keenan Death?

Trish Keenan, best known as the lead singer for influential UK outfit Broadcast, has died, according to the bandís record label, Warp Records.

Though they were a fairly obscure act, Broadcast were widely admired in indie and electronic music circles.

There simply weren't many bands better than Broadcast. Their debut album, "The Noise Made By People," was a swirling blast of retro-futuristic psychedelia.

Does anyone know Trish Keenan's cause of death? I heard she was sick but what really happened to her?

Singer Trish Keenan was earlier reported to have contracted the H1N1 flu virus along with pneumonia.

Far more than Broadcast's singer and frontwoman, Trish Keenan was a visionary artist: she and her partner James Cargill, who always formed the core of the band, always blended art and life, and created beautiful sounds.

Trish Keenan's band were recently selected by Simpsons creator Matt Groening to play the All Tomorrow's Parties festival.

Keenan and James Cargill formed the indie band in Birmingham in 1995. Broadcast's most recent release was a collaboration with The Focus Group in 2009.
