Friday: Free Shipping Day Online Shopping?

This year free shipping day arrives on Friday, December 17, 2010 and anything you order through online shopping from participating retailers has guaranteed delivery by December 24.

More than 1,500 online retailers are set to participate in the third annual Free Shipping Day 2010.

It began at midnight EST on Friday and ends at midnight EST Saturday. This is my last chance to buy all my Christmas gifts.

Usually, you can get the deal if you spend a certain amount: $25 or more at JCPenney; $75 or more at Patagonia but on free shipping day you get the shipping no matter how much you spend.

Is there an official website for free shipping day that lists all the retailers?

About 1,700 sites plan to offer some form of free shipping online on Thursday, with many requiring a minimum purchase amount.

Among the retailers expected to participate in 2010's Free Shipping Day are Macy's Inc., Barnes & Noble Inc., JoS. A. Bank Clothiers Inc., J.C. Penney Co. and Nike Inc.
