Michael Jackson Alive or Dead?

First people say Michael Jackson is dead and know the media is saying he could be alive. Is he alive or dead?
I know this happens with every celebrity, once they're dead people start saying they never died and are alive.
What is the truth in this case? Did Michael Jackson really die or is he alive somewhere?

After watching his funeral in TV I believe he is indeed dead. There is no way he would fake his own death, I mean, for what purpose? Why would anyone do that?
