Michael Neal Harvey, the man suspected of murdering the daughter of a North Carolina police chief and stuffing her body into a storage locker has been caught.
The name of the dead girl is Valerie Hamilton and authorities are saying Michael Neal Harvey killed her. I saw his picture and the guy looks creepy.
I heard this guy commit several crimes before, what other crimes was he involved in? What did he do to Valerie Hamilton?
Has a cause of death been determined yet?

Based on arrest records, Michael Neal Harvey has been in North Carolina for at least five years and is a convicted rapist in New York. He has a long criminal record.

Harvey, who has relatives in Niagara Falls, was arrested without a struggle by the U.S. Marshals Service, FBI agents and State Police, with assistance from Niagara County Sheriff's deputies.

Valerie Hamilton's body was found Saturday night at a storage facility in east Charlotte after she'd been missing since the previous Wednesday. She is the daughter of Concord Police Chief Merl Hamilton.
A Charlotte medical examiner is performing an autopsy on Valerie. That will determine if additional charges will be pressed against Michael Neal Harvey.
A candlelight vigil in memory of Valerie Hamilton has been scheduled for this evening in Concord.
