The death of Martin Short's wife Nancy Dolman took place today.

Nancy Dolman died on Saturday at the couple's home in Pacific Palisades.
The LAFD reportedly responded to a call at the couple’s home Saturday morning. “Sadly, we can confirm that Martin Short’s wife did pass away,” Short’s rep Camille Kuznetz told CNN. “We do not have any other comment to make.”

Nancy Dolman was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and underwent surgery during that time.
Her death is probably related to her cancer.
Dolman also had a comedic acting career, appearing in episodes of the sitcom "Soap" in the early 1980s.

The longtime couple, who had been married for 30 years, met in 1972.

Dolman and Short, of Hamilton, met in 1972 while working together on the Toronto production of Godspell.
