Meteor Shower August 2010 Time & Viewing?

Hundreds of shooting stars are expected to streak across the sky tonight.

This year's Perseid meteor shower peaks on the night of August 12, 2010, and should produce a display of at least 80 meteors an hour during that peak, according to NASA.

I live in California, USA, and I would like to take a video of the meteor shower peak. At what time am I going to view the peak here?
I know the viewing times are different for other locations like the UK.
Can anyone help me?

NASA reports that the Perseid meteor shower of August 2010 will reach its height from tonight into Friday, producing estimates of 80 meteors per hour across the pitch-black summer skies.

Best times to view the august 2010 meteor shower: midnight to dawn. The moon is just past new, so moonlight will not interfere.

All you have to do is go out around 10:30 or 11pm and look to the NE part of the sky, there ought to be around 50 meteors burning up per hour. You know how fast those icy dust crystals are traveling? 38 miles per second.

The Perseids are visible every year in early August when the Earth moves through a cloud of dust and debris left by the Swift-Tuttle comet. The shooting stars are caused by dust and debris colliding with the Earth’s atmosphere at high speeds and burning up.
