Back To The Future Date: July 5 2010?

Have you noticed something interesting guys about today's date July 5 2010?
In the classic movie Back To The Future, Doc sets the time clock in the Delorean to a day twenty five years in the future.

And today is that day, July 5 2010.
I was just enlightened about this by a friend. It is such a cool fact, don't you think?

I believe he set it for 30 years in the future, not 25? Doc Brown goes to 2015 I think.

Back to the future was one of the best movies I watched as a kid.

The film had it all – time travel, a mad scientist, Michael J. Fox, DeLoreans, the 1950s, plutonium – which combined to make it a very successful and likable film.

The movie is turning 25 years. This October, the Back To The Future trilogy will be released on Blu-Ray, and will include a documentary about the series and, excellently, a look at the science behind the hoverboard, time travel other futuristic things depicted by the series.

The Doc does not set the time circuits for anytime in 2010.
It is his intention to go “25 years into the future” but he is not able to travel through time at this point as he is chased down and caught by the Lybians before he manages to key this date in.

All the dates in the Back to the Future series all end in 5 (1985, 1955, 1855, 2015), and there is no mention of the year 2010, never mind July 5, 2010.

Back to the Future has to be one of the movies I’ve watched more times than any other. I absolutely love everything about it. I was 5 when first movie was released and I’ve literally grown up with it.

You guys are right, the real date was set on October 21, 2015, not Today's!!! it was al a hoax!!!
