OMG, there has been a major earthquake in Chennai India and Japan too. People is going crazy because now there's probably a tsunami coming. I have family in Chennai and I can't contact them, I'm desperate. Is people ok in that region?

There has been a great intensity earthquake in Chennai. The earthquake was intense. 7.6 magnitude on Richter scale. At first it was just tremors.
Don't worry, no casualty has been reported so far. So people is fine. Maybe you can't contact them because there's been some issues with the communication system but so far nothing bad has been reported about Chennai.
