Kansas City Royals catcher Jason Kendall is currently in the process of divorcing his wife, Chantel Kendall, and as is often the case in these matters, things are getting ugly.

Jason Kendall’s wife is raising serious questions in divorce papers about the major league baseball player’s use of Adderall.

Chantel has made claims of emotional and physical abuse, but now she is also making claims of her soon to be ex-husband using Adderall.

What is Adderall and what does it do to you?

Adderall is a drug that is commonly prescribed to those who are diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, and it is an amphetamine. The purpose of the drug is to help a patient increase their alertness, concentration, libido and overall cognitive skills.

All of which could come in handy on the baseball field, save for the libido.

Adderall is commonly prescribed for attention deficit disorder but there are hints that major league baseball players have been abusing the drug in the past few years, using it as a performance enhancer.

Now Chantel Kendall, estranged wife of Kansas City Royals player Jason Kendall has made allegations in court papers questioning the player’s use of Adderall, for which he has a prescription.

Kansas City Royals slugger Jason Daniel Kendall is in for some more bouts of legal melee with his estranged wife Chantel.

TMZ reports that the baseball star was at the court on Monday as his lawyer made a bid to allow Kendall to take the divorcing couple’s two kids to Kansas City for baseball season.

Chantel, who was accompanied in the court-room by her present boyfriend Sean Stewart, son to Rod Stewart, opposed the move.

The judge continued the case until March 18.
