Brachydactyly Thumb?

Megan Fox suffers from Brachydactyly. It is a rare condition which is probably better known as a clubbed thumb.
Her clubbed thumbs Brachydactyly condition were public knowledge a few months back when pictures of her thumb were all over the internet.
Did you see her thumbs? They look weird like foot thumbs but in your hands. Not sure if it's a disease, a condition or what.

Brachydactyly is a medical term which literally means "shortness of the fingers and toes."
Brachydactyly refers to disproportionately short fingers and toes, and forms part of the group of limb malformations characterized by bone dysostosis.
The word brachydactyly comes from the Greek terms brachy, meaning "short," and daktylos, meaning "digit." The digits themselves may be shorter than normal, or they may appear small because of shortening of the other bones in the hands or feet.
Often, brachydactyly presents on its own, and it is not accompanied with any other physical abnormalities. However, it can also present as part of a syndrome such as dwarfism. The condition is caused by shortening or malformation of the bones in the hands and feet, and in some cases people may also have missing hand and foot bones.

There is no specific management or treatment that is applicable to all forms of brachydactyly. Plastic surgery is only indicated if the brachydactyly affects hand function.
