Penguin Awareness Day 2010 is a day set aside so that none shall forget the humble flightless birds of Antarctica.
Penguin Awareness Day, and World Penguin Day are great opportunities to learn about and appreciate one of the few natives of Antarctica. Penguins live far away but we should take care of them. On these days, spend a little time learning about them.... a pictorial book or internet site is fun. You can also watch a documentary of these cute and popular, grounded birds.
World Penguin Day is April 25th.
Penguin Awareness Day is January 20.
