Harold Camping: End of The World on May 21 2011?

Harold Camping, a guy who runs an evangelical radio station, is convinced by their reading of the Bible that the end of the world will begin May 21, 2011.

He says that the day the world ends, followers of Christ will be taken to heaven. The rest of us will suffer through the Period of Torment.

Harold Camping says he has developed a mathematical formula for analyzing the Bible that reveals May 21, 2011 as Judgment Day.

Do you believe it can be true? Could the end of the world start on May 21, 2011?

Harold Camping believes the Bible essentially functions as a cosmic calendar explaining exactly when various prophecies will be fulfilled.

At first they said the world was going to end on 2000, then it was on December 2012 because the Mayans predicted it. Now it's May 21, 2011, it's all nonsense in my opinion.

This is not the first time Harold Camping has made a bold prediction about the end of the world. He did the same thing on September 6, 1994 and nothing happened.

Nobody can predict the future. For all we know, the world will end tomorrow. We certainly have enough nuclear bombs on this planet to make it happen.
