Chicago Blizzard 2011 Video?

As predicted, a huge blizzard swept over the Chicago area on Tuesday night, closing roads and businesses.

The blizzard out of Chicago canceled more than 1,300 flights at O'Hare Airport, and nearly every other flight has been significantly delayed.

Chicago is being affected by wind gusts expected to reach between 50 and 60 miles per hour along the lake and snow to fall at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour overnight.

Is the 2011 Chicago blizzard a record? Has there been a similar blizzard before? Where can I see a video of the current storm in Chicago?

The weather in Chicago is so bad and will be getting only worse as a blizzard capable of dumping 20 inches of snow approaches.

According to the National Weather Service, the most snow Chicago has ever seen at one time was 44 years ago. It happened on January 26, 1967 the city got pounded with 23 inches of snow over two days.

This time meteorologists expect a foot, maybe 20 inches, of snow to blanket the city of Chicago, with some parts of town getting hit with as much as two feet.

Please stay safe over the next few days. And obviously do not travel, this storm is life-threatening.

This video taken on February 1, 2011 shows the current weather condition in Chicago.
