What do you think of the Juan Pierre trade?
Was it a good move? a bad move? What is your opinion?
I think the trade is ridiculous. I can't believe they would trade him for 2 prospects. Juan Pierre definitely stepped it up when Manny was gone. Pierre is a way better player. This reminds me of when they got rid of LaDuca, Encarnacion and Mota all in one shot. Dumb trade.

Juan Pierre is more of a bench guy, fast and pretty much nothing else. In my opinion, Omar was a waste to get but Andruw Jones was a decent choice because the center fielder they have now apparently has no home run power (yet).
The Dodgers just shed a lot of salary. They received nothing in return, so the move clearly was a financial move. But what will the Dodgers do with those dollars once promised to Juan Pierre?
I don't know about this trade, I don't like it.
I'm happy Juan Pierre is going to get the playtime he deserves but it's gonna be hard to see him in a different uniform.
