Are Banks Open On Martin Luther King Day?

Are banks open or closed on Martin Luther King day today january 18 2010? What about the stock market, is it going to be open or closed today?
I Live in texas. Will Texas bank be open on MLK day? I believe Martin Luther King day is a federal holiday, is that right?
Only thing I know is that schools remain closed in MLK day.

MLK day is a bank holiday. It's a national holiday, so banks will not be open for business today.
Martin Luther King day is considered a Federal Holiday - therefore no bank, mail, school, etc.
