Quadrantid Meteor Shower 2012 Peak?

I was told that the Quadrantid Meteor Shower 2012 is taking place this week, I think it might be tonight or tomorrow night. What I want to know is the peak?
I've always wanted to witness the Quadrantid Meteor Shower with my own eyes but I don't even know if it's possible to see it from where I live, maybe we get to see something during its peak.
2012 is a year with great surprises when it comes to stuff that happen in space, our sun is going to be very active this year. The Quadrantid Meteor Shower is just the start of a series of great stuff that we'll be able to see in 2012. Please let me know the peak times.

Unlike most showers, the 2012 Quadrantid Meteor Shower is one that lasts only a few hours so it's important to know when the peak is going to take place, normal ones can take several days and even weeks.
The best place to watch the 2012 Quadrantid Meteor Shower is in North America, in the morning of January 4 of 2012, that's when the peak is. There are going to be between 100 or 200 meteors per hour falling down from the sky. The name Quadrantid comes from a constellation that does not longer exist, and from which the meteors used to radiate. I hope this solves your question.
