Daylight Savings Time March 2011: USA dates?

When does Daylight Savings Time begin in 2011 in the USA?
I know the time change is in March 2011 but I'm not sure about the exact dates.
Daylight savings time allows for more light during the evening hours and less light in the morning hours.
Can anyone tell me the correct date of DST in March 2011? Are you in favor of the idea of changing the time in the USA?

Sunday, March 13th, 2011 is the start of Daylight Savings Time. Our clocks will go an hour forward.
The time change starts at 2am on that day.
It will continue to go dark at night and get light in the mornings regardless of what time the clock says.
So for me the time change is OK.
