Kodak z18?

I'm looking info on the Kodak z18, I need a new camera and this model was recommended to me. Is it a good camera? I plan on taking it to my trip to the amazonas where it will be exposed to dust and maybe water splashes. Is the Kodak z18 a strong camera?

The Kodak z18 is a very good camera, not sure if it will stand your trip.

Kodak z18 specs:

Kodakís Z18 can shoot 1080p and has a built-in image stabilization (electronic), a microphone socket and and SD card slot, which can be expanded for up to 32GB (but when bought, it will only come with a 128MB internal memory). It also has Flipís trademark flip-out USB plug, and has the capacity to shoot five megapixels in still form.

The Kodakís pocket camera packs considerably very powerful features. It will be available in September for $180.

The Kodak Zi8 also boast 1080p high definition video capture which is a step up from the 720p found on the Zi6. There are other specs like built-in electronic image stabilization, face detection for both videos and still images, a 5 megapixel snapper, it even has the option to upload movies and still images to Facebook and YouTube.

Get an Olympus Stylus 790 or tough if you are going into the amazon. The Kodak Z18 is great for everyday use, but not near the water.
