Perseid Meteor Shower August 2011 Pictures?

August's Perseid meteor shower ranks among the most popular sky shows of the year 2011.
I was looking forward to this event because I love to observe meteor showers, I always visit the observatory but I've been told this year is going to be different.
The 2011 Perseid meteor shower will coincide with a full moon, so it's going to be hard to see. Is NASA going to take pictures of the event?
I live in Florida, will I be able to see the meteor shower from here?

The Perseid meteor shower will be a bit diminished this year because of a brilliant full moon.
The satellite is putting a big wet blanket on this year’s meteor shower, making it hard to see them.
You still might catch one or two around 11pm EDT, when the shower would typically be best to view.

There are no pictures of August's phenomenon yet, but here's a picture of what a Perseid meteor shower looks like.
