Bronx Zoo Snake: Egyptian Cobra Pics?

A poisonous Egyptian cobra disappeared from New York's Bronx zoo over the weekend.
Zoo workers were on the hunt for the deadly snake, which experts believe will stay hidden until it becomes hungry or thirsty.

The Reptile House, where the cobra snake disappeared was closed to the public.

Officials at the Bronx Zoo said that they may not find the Egyptian cobra for days or weeks.

They say they're confident that the snake is contained in a non-public area of the zoo in an off-exhibit enclosure.
Based on the weather alone, it is not likely the cobra left the building or did not make it very far if it did.

The good news is that snakes are not typically aggressive animals, so if you donít bother them, they wonít bother you.
