Router Configuration Web Page??

I have a new router and I need to configure it. The router came with a confusing manual so I can't figure out how to configure it.
How do I find my router configuration web page?

Click Start then click Run. Type in "cmd" and a black box will appear.
Type in ipconfig/all and press enter. Scroll up until you find a line starting with "default gateway" write down the number that's on the same line and type in "http://(number)".
You'll find the webpage this way.

Click on your Start button and select "Run...". There, type "cmd" into the field and hit ok.

Then type "ipconfig" into the black window that opened and hit enter.
this will give you some infos, one of it being your Default Gateway.
Take note of this address: something like or the likes and enter this exact number into the internet browser on your pc.
You should now connect to the web browser of your router.

You need to enter the router's LAN IP address in your web browser, then log in with user name and password to get to the router configuration.

If your computer is connected through your router, then you only need to type the number, something like or Try them both.

This way you'll have access to your Router Configuration Web Page. If you don't know your username or password try with the word "root" for both values.
