World Of Dance: 7 Year Old Single Ladies?

The is currently a huge scandal about 7 year old girls dancing the Single Ladies song by Beyonce at the World of Dance competition.
The 7 year old little girls dance so good, but the problem is the clothes they are wearing.

The little girls are wearing bikini tops and hot pants while they bump, grind, and gyrate, lip-syncing "If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it."
I believe this is very inappropriate for 7 years old girls. Have you see the performance of Single Ladies at the World Of Dance by the girls? What is your opinion?

The youtube video has received 2 million hits.

The video of the 7 year old little girls performing Single Ladies at the World of Dance competition can be found on youtube.

What's troubling in the Single Ladies video performed by these 7 year old girls is more than just the moves these kids are making -- it's the element of adult manipulation behind them.

The dance number, performed at the recent World of Dance competition in Los Angeles, has the girls wearing midriff tops, hot pants and fishnet gloves.

I watch this bunch of energetic 7-year-olds and wish that, with those kicks and their apparent athleticism, they were outside on a soccer field, enjoying a sport that focuses on play -- and not so much on the body.

The father of one of the little rascals defended the dance on Good Morning America, saying the girls' performance was "completely normal for dancing" and just "doing something they completely love to do."

Psychologists offered different perspectives.

"There's something kind of disturbing about these images, otherwise they wouldn't be all over the Internet," said Jay Reeve, a clinical psychologist in Tallahassee, Fla. "It's pretty clear that this dance would be more appropriate for girls post-puberty."

While psychologists agree that the girls are most likely unaware of the inappropriate implications of their dance, they warn that coaching girls in this kind of behavior sends the wrong message.

But despite this defense, YouTube viewers have commented in their thousands, with the majority agreeing the routine is 'too provocative'.

One user commented: "Why would their parents agree to those sleazy outfits. They are parents - they are supposed to protect them not flaunt them like a piece of meat."

The clip has made its way onto the Early Show and even CNN. It now has over 2 million views, and has caused major outrage across the web.

I believe it is outrageous the parents allowed their 7 year old little girls do this.
What were they thinking?

Did you notice that Beyonce actually shows less skin in the official "Single Ladies" video (which has been watched by 86 million times on the internet) than the young girls' outfits at the World of Dance competition?
