Error message 'LSA shell has encountered an error'?

I try to connect to the Internet and I get the following error message:

"LSA shell has encountered an error".

I have no idea what LSA means and why I'm getting this error.
What should I do?

You are getting an LSA Shell Error because you have a worm.
You need to scan your computer and delete it. This can be done with one of the following software applications:

- Stinger, from McAfee.
- Blaster Worm Removal Tool.
- One of the security apps from the Symantec website.

To stop the shutdown count, follow the following steps.

1. Click Start > Run.

2. In the input field type "shutdown -a", press Enter.

That's all, this solves your problem.

To prevent the worm from infecting you computer again you need to have Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) enabled.
How to enable ICF?

1) Access your Network Connections, right click on the connections icon and choose properties.

2) Click on Advanced and tick the ICF check box.

You'll be safe this way, because the firewall will block any incoming connection request.

Hope this solves your problem.
