My DS is totally out of juice.
I haven't played my DS in a while, and when I went to turn it on, it wouldn't. So I thought to myself, OK it needs to be charged. I plugged it in and the orange LED switched on, but it still wouldn't turn on, and after about 30 seconds or so the light went off.

I had this problem, or THOUGHT I did. In fact, my DS was actually fully charged and I was trying to charge it. This probably isn't happening to you, but double check.

If the problem persists and your DS won't charge anymore, then it sounds like you need a new battery. It's odd that the battery has ran out this quick though. Just contact Nintendo and they might fix it for free for you.

this has happen to me before and usually all you need to do is plug the charger in to a different outlet or your ds is already fully charged i know this because this has happened to me.
