Uga VII Dead?

Uga VII, the white English bulldog mascot for the University of Georgia's football team for almost two seasons is dead.
He was known as Loran's Best. What I liked the most about him is that he was laid-back who seemed oblivious to the crowd and would sit patiently as fans took photos of him.
It's such a shame he's dead. Was Uga VII too old?

UGA VII was really cool. He's no Bevo, mind you, but he was a great mascot.

After less than two seasons as Georgia’s mascot, Uga died of heart-related causes.
He probably started getting heart problems when the officials called excessive celebration during the LSU game that cost them the game.

Seriously, I don't think it has anything to do with a "stressful environment" or the fact that Georgia as a whole is unhealthy.
Dogs just die.

RIP Uga.
