Hanukkah Traditions and Customs?

As I celebrate Christmas, I always wonder what are some traditions and customs for Hanukkah. I don't know anyone who celebrates Hanukkah and this would be grate for me school homework because I don't know what to write about so I chose Hanukkah traditions and customs. But there's too much extensive info on the internet so I prefer asking some people to tell me about this celebration and what do you like the most. What are some Hanukkah traditions and customs?

I don't celebrate Hanukkah but I can tell you some traditions and customs. One tradition is when, on the first night of Hanukkah, the house is filled with the scent of hot oil and latkes or donuts. Other very known traditions and customs are kindling the Hanukkah flames, foods cooked in oil, the Dreidel or spinning, etc. As you can see, Hanukkah has as many customs to appreciate as Christmas but the last one is more popular. However, it's always useful to know about other cultures and religions.
