Is The Social Network Movie a True Story?

Is the movie "The Social Network" a true story, or just made up?
The Social network is a movie about Facebook and how it was created by Mark Zuckerberg. It portraits Mark as a bad guy.
But is everything real? Like how he was a Harvard dropout and got sued for the website.
Did everything that happen in the movie really happen in real life? Or is it fantasy?

The Social Network is not completely real. It's based upon true events but the actual people claim that its completely different as to how things actually went.
It's part fiction and part fact. The basic story is true about the lawsuits and similar things.
Mark Zuckerberg was in fact sued for accusations of stealing the idea of Facebook but the other stuff in the movie is just fake.
The biggest lie the movie tells is that Eduardo Saverin is a complete victim and Mark Zuckerberg is a villain. Mark behaved badly when he was 19, but he had his reasons to cut Eduardo out of the company.
