Is a Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich Bad For You?

Hey, The sandwhich i usually make at home the most is the Peanut Butter & Jelly on wheat bread. My parents just had an argument about whether or not you can call a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich healthy. Is peanut butter and jelly sandwich really good for you? Or is it bad?

It's not bad for you.

Peanut butter usually contains a large amount of icing sugar (believe it or not) and saturated fats, both of which are bad for you. The only way to avoid this is to buy all natural peanut butter from a health food store that makes it on the premises.

The bread should be "Whole Wheat" Wheat bread includes white bread. Whole grain can include other grains. Plain bread is empty calories.

If you use organic natural peanut butter, and all natural jelly that has no added sugars and is primarily smashed up fruit, then it's good for you.
