Happy New Year Poems & Messages For Cards?

I need a thoughtful, inspirational poem or message to wish a happy new year 2011 to all my family.
I just bought happy new year cards and I thought they already had a message or poem inside but they were blank.
So I need to write something by myself and right now I can't think about anything.
I was about to write something like "have a great 2011" in every card but I want my family to think I actually care about them.
Can you share a creative message or a good poem you've heard?

These are poems about the new year.

Path laid out
in front of door
hopeful first steps
of new year

red carpet
yellow brick road
trail of tears
or walk of shame

journey unknown
until it's traversed
will you reap what
you have sown?

To spend more time on Poetry,
less lolly-gagging on Polls & Survey,
To spend more energy to study,
less lamenting on all the lovey-dovey.

To live my life being stronger,
not to fret on sadness and anger,
To be a woman made of steel,
not to whine on how i feel.

“What can be said in New Year rhymes,
That's not been said a thousand times?
The new years come, the old years go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with the light,
We lie down weeping with the night.
We hug the world until it stings,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe our prides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that's the burden of a year.” - Ella Wheeler Wilcox

And here's a nice message for your new year cards.

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.
