Can I get a disease if i use a condom?

If I have sex with a girl, is it possible that I can still get a disease if I'm wearing a condom?
I talked about this with my dad and he said that if I use a condom I wont get AIDS but I still may get other diseases.
Is that true?

Yes, you can still get a disease.
I wouldn't trust a condom because it is still possible for you to get a disease like genital warts or the Human Papilloma Virus, which can be transmitted even with the use of a condom.

Every single body fluid contact has a risk.

Still, using a condom will reduce the chances of getting any disease.
I wonder what would happen if the condom breaks, though.

It could happen, but it is highly unlikely.
And like your dad said, you may be safe from AIDS but you still can get other diseases even using a condom.
