Mona Lisa Eyes Numbers & Letters Meaning?

Today, nearsighted art historians discovered tiny numbers and letters etched into the Mona Lisa's eyes.

According to Silvano Vinceti, the chairman of the Italian national committee for cultural heritage, in one of Mona Lisa's eyes, there's an LV; in the other, what might be C and E.

Though it is not known whose initials those letters would stand for, it does contradict the common belief that Mona Lisa was Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a Florentine merchant. Or maybe the letters are not supposed to be initials.

What is the meaning of the letters and numbers hidden in Mona Lisa's eyes?

Leonardo Da Vinciís 500-year-old Mona Lisa was examined by Silvano Vinceti, of Italyís National Committee for Cultural Heritage.

Art historians were directed towards the enigmatic lady's eyes when a member of Italy's National Committee for Cultural Heritage stumbled upon a 50-year-old book in an antique shop that suggested the Mona Lisa's eyes contained hidden symbols.

The letters may be a clue to the identity of the model in the painting -- one of art history's most enduring questions.

Also, the guys investigation Mona Lisa's eyes found what it seems to be the number 72, or possibly an L and a 2. It is painted into a bridge in the background of the Mona Lisa, they have no idea what that could be.
