Jim Cornelison is awesome when it comes to singing the national anthem and the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks know it. They have hired him full-time to sing the national anthem at every event.
His performance is already being talked about as one of the great renditions of "The Star Spangled Banner" ever.
Cornelison, who works in real estate by day, has been singing the song at Blackhawks games since 1995.
Jim of Vienna, Virginia, sang with numerous opera companies before moving to Chicago, where he was accepted as one of six interns in a field of 800 applicants to become a part of the Lyric Opera's Apprenticeship Program.
