The recliners were sold at toy and children's stores across the country.

A four-month-old baby fell over the side, became entrapped, and died.
The infant died in a Nap Nanny that was being used in a crib. The baby was found in her three-point harness, hanging over the side of the product. She was caught between the Nap Nanny and the crib bumper.

The makers of the recliner say the Nap Nanny should always be used on the floor away from any other products.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the manufacturer, Baby Matters LLC, of Berwyn, Pa., announced today the voluntary recall of 30,000 Nap Nanny recliners. The agency is investigating the report of the death.

If you own a Nap Nanny, the company are offering the following refunds and discounts:

* If you own a model purchased before August 15 2009 (it will have no Velcro straps inside the cover securing the cover to the base), then you can apply for an $80 coupon towards the purchase of another Nap Nanny.
* If you own a model from after August 15 2009, then they want you to view their instructional video and read the latest warnings about the product.
