Does the iPhone touch screen work if you’re wearing gloves?

Is is possible to interact with the iPhone's touch screen even if you're using gloves?
I use gloves all the time at work and I need to use the iPhone so I need to make sure.
Will I be able to touch the screens with my gloves on?

Unfortunately no. Skin contact is required to operate the buttons and other interactive features of the iPhone. Still, most tappable elements on the screen are big and broad, designed for fingertip access.
I say you go to an Apple store with your gloves and try it, you never know.

Use Metal On Gloves
Stick a piece of tin foil over the fingertips of your gloves, should work fine.
