Presidents Day 2011: Is There Mail & Are Banks Open?

Are Banks open on Presidents day 2011, February 21th in the United States?
I need to deposit a check but I've been told banks may be closed because it's an important holiday.
Also, is there mail today? Is UPS going to be open or closed on President's day 2011?
Please help me, I'm calling the bank but I get no response.

Banks will not be open on President's Day 2011, but a grocery store that has a bank branch in it might be.
All banks and government agencies are closed in the US tomorrow for the US holiday.
Many ATM's are usually open and working; you can make deposits and get cash from them but little else.
President's day 2011 is a federal holiday. So that means that all the banks and postal services will be closed.

If it's president's day. Why are they making us go to school in Mobie, Al?

My neighbor told me he was able to get money from the bank today.
How come? Aren't banks supposed to be closed on President's day 2011?
