Veterans Day Sales & Free Meals 2010?

My dad is a veteran and he was wondering about sales and free meals for Veterans Day 2010.

Military members and veterans with ID can enjoy of special deals and freebies. Several area restaurants and businesses will be doing their part by giving veterans a free meal or special discount.
A deserved gift for them, veterans deserve to be celebrated daily for their service to our country.

Where can I find a list with the most important businesses offering free meals, freebies and special sales on Veterans Day 2010?

On Veterans Day 2010, veterans and active duty military can eat free at a number of restaurant chains around town.

Chili's is offering a free entree from Veterans Day Menu, including Oldtimer with Cheese, Quesadilla Explosion Salad, Margarita Grilled Chicken, Cajun Chicken Pasta, Chicken Crispers or Chicken Club Tacos. (Beverage and gratuity not included.)

Applebee’s free entrée from their Special Veterans Menu is available during business hours on November 11, 2010 at participating Applebee’s only. Dine-in from limited menu only. Beverages and gratuity not included. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service.

At Hooters, veterans can order one of the specialty items off their menu all day, as long as they present their military ID. A drink purchase is required.

The Home Depot and Lowes will offer veterans and current military members a 10 percent discount on purchases Thursday.

Also, check your local restaurants, most of them offer free meals for veterans Wednesday and will again Thursday in honor of Veterans Day.
