Are condoms supposed to be tight?

Last night I tried a condom for the first time. I was by myself, I've never used a condom before so I wanted to see how it felt to use one.
What I noticed what the the condom was really tight, there was a lot of pressure going on.
I thought condoms were more comfortable, are condoms supposed to be that tight?

Buddy this should be common sense.
Either you're not unrolling it right, or you are huge.

When you put on a condom, leave about half-an-inch of space at the top of the condom to reduce tightness and allow your semen some place to go. To do this, place the rolled up condom over the tip when it is hard. Then, while pinching about half-an-inch of the condom at the tip, roll the rest of it down with the other hand. Or, include your partner -- one can hold the tip while the other rolls.

Pinching the condom also forces air out of it. Once the condom is on, you can take the extra precaution of smoothing out any air bubbles. Often, air bubbles are the culprit in condom breaks. Test driving other condom brands may help you find one or two that fit more comfortably.
